The following screenshot shows the main window of the software:
The main window is divided into several parts:
Menubar (1)
The menu bar provides all program components.
Toolbar (2)
The tool bar groups often needed program options thus allowing a comfortable software operation. In the according chapter describing the function, the icons, if existing, are depicted. In addition, a brief description appears when you hover the cursor over the button for a short time!
Terminal window (3)
The terminal window is used to display all raw data, which are exchanged between detector and LoopMaster. The readout is the same as on the service terminal. There is no editing or reformatting, so the contents are not necessarily legible.
From the terminal window, it is also possible to manually send commands to the detector.
Parameter window (4)
This window shows the parameters obtained from the detector. Depending on the selected view mode (Beginner / Intermediate / Expert) from the menu Settings → View Mode, different parameters are shown in the parameter window. To simplify matters, in the following the Expert view is used .
The form of display is described in detector-specific configuration files. Those can be channel (or system) parameters and device-related parameters. Additionally, there are adjustable parameters and mere diagnosis parameters.
Status bar (5)
The status bar provides information about the current diagnosis such as status of the COM connection and detector information.
