Use the menu Parameter → Read Parameter to red the Parameters.
• Manual changes are discarded. However, you have the option to save the changes to a file before you read out the parameters.
Detector settings can only be requested when a detector is properly recognized.
Some parameters can be changed if required.
The parameters are divided into adjustable and non-adjustable parameters. Adjustable parameters are highlighted in white and can be selected. The diagnostic parameters are grayed out and can not be selected.
There are three types of adjustable parameters:
Parameters whose value you can enter yourself (decimal parameters)
Parameters whose value can be chosen from a list (list parameters)
Bit-coded parameters, which are a combination of logical values. Each logical value can be changed independently of other values. (bit parameters)
After changing parameters, the appearance changes:

If the parameters are transferred and the transfer fails (eg because the parameter is not valid), this is also displayed graphically:

The transmission of parameters is described in Send parameters.
Use the menu Parameter → Write to Device to send parameters. Before you can send the changed parameters to the detector, the following dialog must be confirmed:
Use the menu File → Open or File → Open Sample to open a saved file. Depending on the operation mode of LoopMaster (Online/Offline) the loaded parameters are loaded as changes (Online) or the editor function is enabled (Offline).
Use the menu File → Save As to display the systems file dialog and to save the parameters to a file.
Use the menu File → Print to print the parameters of the channels. The printout also contains the time of printing and the version number of the detector.
For copying parameters between channels the following dialog appears:
The channel selected in the parameter window is always automatically used as source. The dialog also automatically shows a list of all possible target channels / systems.
Factory settings are preferences which reset the channels of the detector in a defined state in the detector software. The user has no influence on these definitions.
After choosing Parameter → Factory settings the detector is set to the factory settings which can't be undone.
Use the menu Parameter → Cyclic read from device to start an automated query to the specified interval. To enter the time interval the following dialog opens:
The minimum interval is 5 seconds and the maximum one is 9999 seconds.
After choosing Parameter → Load detector preset... the following dialog opens:

Choose the appropriate preset and confirm by clicking OK. The connected parameters are being loaded and may be changed manually. The values mus be send to the detector. In some occasions a similar dialog will open presenting additional information:
