The terminal window has the function of the hand terminal, i.e. it is possible to configure a detector which is connected to the computer via the service interface. Within the terminal window all data send and received is displayed. Using the keyboard you can send commands to the detector (Via Terminal Input).
The data in the terminal window is displayed in lines. The line width as well as the automatic line break can be set.
The content of the terminal window is automatically moved to the top. If desired, the automatic line feed can be deactivated.
You can delete the content at any time.
In order to show or hide the terminal window select Settings → Terminal → Show Terminal.
The operation via service terminal commands is only possible if the terminal window is activated (opened). For a description of the commands that can be sent to the detector, see the detector documentation .
To show or disable the terminal input select Settings → Terminal → Show Terminal Input.
Use the menu Settings → Terminal → Clear Terminal to delete the terminal content . Received data will not be deleted. Deletion only affects the terminal view.
